How Do I Return All the Records upto the Previous Friday in Crystal Reports?

During a recent Crystal Reports XI training session, a delegate asked how does one return of the records upto the previous Friday?

Solution:

Crystal Reports XI has a array function LastFullWeek, which includes all dates from the previous week from Sunday to Saturday.

So by manipulating this function it is possible to return the required dataset.

To Return the all the records upto the previous Friday:
  1. From the Report Menu Select the Selection Formulas -> Record
  2. In the Formula Workshop, enter the following formula:

    3. {Tablename.Fieldname}  <= Maximum(LastFullWeek) - 1

  3. Press the Save and Close button
