Issue
The client had designed a utilisation report, using SQL Server Reporting Services 2008, for the company, however although the report return the correct data, it took over 10 minutes to execute.

Solution
It was decided that the most effective solution would be to provide a remote report consultancy solution, that would primarily look at the performance issues of the report.
The client emailed across the report and the underlying SQL statements of the report and the report parameters.
Reviewing of and amendments to the SQL statements, significantly reduced the execution time of the report, resulting in inceased report performance.
