Issue
Manchester City Council - Housing Housing IT, wanted to be able to create a greater range of professional looking reports, from their Civica - Comino database, to address an number of housing issues, including:
- Rent Arrears
- Maintenance Issues
- Number of homelessness by district/postcode
- Reasons for property rejection
- Number of properties by district/postcode

Solution
After a number of discussions it was decided the best solution to solve these issues and more, was to provide a bespoke training programme using Crystal Reports XI and the Civica (Cominio) database.
The course and exercises was designed specifically with the different housing teams key reporting issues in mind.
Using the Civica (Comino) database as the database, we were able to identify the best way to extract and then manipulate the data, to create dynamic and interactive reports to answer their key questions and issues, to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
This was provided along with free 6 months post-course email and phone support.
