When one creates a chart objects within SQL Server Reporting Services, it defaults to adding the labels of the fields selected.
However everything with SSRS chart objects is customisable.
Solution:
To add bespoke labels to chart data points:
- Right click on the required chart data point
- Select the Series label properties
- Enter the required fields formula within the Expression box
- Press the OK button
