After all these years working with Crystal Reports, starting with version 7, it really nice to still find a little tip, that makes my life easier.
Imagine my surprise, when after working on a report for a number of days, which has to be one of the biggest I have worked on for awhile, with multiple groupings, lines and boxes.
I had to insert a new set of fields, which meant that I had to move half the fields to the right.
Usually I would use the lasso method, and then deselect the lines and boxes.
However by accident, I was in the Preview view of Crystal Reports, when I lassoed the report objects, and found that it only selected the field objects of the report.
