When working with new Crystal Reports clients for troubleshooting or consultancy solutions, is which version was the report written in?
The usual response is "I don't know, how do I find out?"
Solution:
To find out which version of Crystal Reports was used to create the report:
- Launch Crystal Reports
- Open the required report
- Select the Report Menu - Performance Information
- Click on the Report Definition Folder
The version is shown under File Format Schema
