How Do I Control the Image Visibility in SQL Reporting Services 2005?

Last week a client asked "How do I control the visibility of an image based on the company viewing the report in SQL Server Reporting Services 2005?"

To achieve this one has to use the visibility property of the image.

  1. Add the image to the report

  2. Right click on the image and select Properties

  3. In the properties, find the Visibility option

  4. Enter the formula:

    =IIF(FieldName.Value ="Company Name", True, False)
