Following the blog post last week Creating Crystal Xcelsius custom color palettes, I was asked once a custom color palette has been
created, how can it be shared with others within the organisation?
When a
custom color palette is created and saved in Crystal Xcelsius 2008, it is saved
as an XML file, in the following folder:
C:\Program
Files\Business Objects\Xcelsius\Assets\Themes\Custom
To share a
Crystal Xcelsius custom color palettes between machines and laptops:
Copy the
required Custom Color Palette *.xml file to the folder:
C:\Program
Files\Business Objects\Xcelsius\Assets\Themes\Custom
Of all the required machines.
When Crystal Xcelsius 2008 is loaded the new custom palette will be in the Colors list, under the Custom section.
